In the Shifts section, you can set up work schedules to organize how data appears in reports. This is especially helpful when multiple drivers use the same unit at different times. For instance, one driver may work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., while another works from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. By creating two separate shifts, you can generate reports that include only the data recorded during those specific working hours.

To set up shifts, follow these steps:

1. Click the icon + next to the Shifts section.
2. Enter a name for the shift (the first is labeled Shift1 by default, followed by Shift2, Shift3, and so on).
3. Define the shift’s start and end times using the 24-hour format (for example, 09:00–17:00).
4. Click Add shift.
5. Repeat these steps to create as many shifts as needed. Note that each new shift must start at or after the end time of the previous one.

To remove a shift, click the icon beside it.

If you don’t want events from a shift that continues into the next day to be counted toward the previous day, enable the Split overnight shifts option.

Once your shifts are set up, go to the table settings, add grouping by Shift type, and turn on the Retrieve intervals option.
