Running the Risk Management Report – The Basics

Walk-Thru On How to Setup A Custom Risk Management Report

To run a Risk Management Report, you will have to login into your database, and go to Activity -> Risk Management

You can specify the options you would like to see, such as the Date Period, the Exceptions, whether you would like to organize by Device or Driver, if you want to see rows with zero distance or not, and how you would like to run report by.
This will all be displayed in the List View.

Custom Reports
You can also create Custom Reports, that give you the ability to not have to specify any options. You would have the options selected before hand, and all you would have to do is go to View and specify the appropriate report.
To do to this, you’ll have to go to Advanced -> Custom Reports

The Add button gives you a drop down of the available templates. Pick the Risk Management template.
Then import the Risk Management report in and specify the options you would like to see in the report.

Checking the ‘Always show devices or drivers’ will display each individual Device or Driver in the report.
You can now go back to Risk Management and click on View and choose the Custom Report you chose.
You can then choose to Export this report to an Excel file by clicking on the Excel Icon at the top:
You also have the ability to change the Options in the report, except for the Exceptions, which will be grayed out.

Common Mistake

Sometimes users will go to Risk Management, specify the Exceptions they would like to see, and apply changes.
They then go to View and choose one of the Custom Reports. They then expect the Custom Report generated to display info about the Exceptions they had specified. This will not work, as the options you had chosen when you created the Custom Report will override the Exceptions you choose.
